At first glance, the article to follow may not appear to have much application in Tenkara fly fishing because it was written for Western fly fishing anglers and talks a lot about line stripping techniques, which can not be done on tenkara tackle. But much of the line stripping technique can be imitated with tenkara rod manipulation techniques with tenkara tackle, and the principles presented apply equally to both types of tackle and flies.
