The brown trout in the first picture is extremely dark. Was the water or substrate also dark? The second picture
looks more like the trout, I catch in the mountains of Virginia. The dark brown trout is really cool looking. Thank you for sharing these pics.

Had a good time last Saturday. Caught a good amout of fish. Panfish and bass. Most were caught on my daiwa seiryu x45 and few on my maxcatch tenkara triple. Estimated around a dozen panfish and maybe 10+ bass. Most were good fighters too and had the rod doubled over lol. Fought so many back to back my arm was burning :joy:
