Feeling pretty good about this rod set. Two 360 length rods overlap however, one is a one size fits all travel set. The Mini V3 fits in the parts bin for the Tenkara mini and also for tight quarters casting. Each rod in the quiver is highly specialized for what it is designed for.
The Karasu 400 is becoming my first “magic rod” It has caught some great fish and is super accurate.
Anyway, my quiver covers genryu, keiryu and honryu.
I will be buying a two hand rod in the 6m category soon for tenkara techniques in a large western river. This is my only want that is quickly becoming a need to learn.
I have the Nissin Air Stage Hakubai 240 in the medium flex, and absolutely love it.
For little brookies in small streams it’s perfection. Casts a 2.0 (not a typo, 2.0) line wonderfully, even with a bit of a breeze which surprised me.
As a just in case insurance policy I brought another one home from Japan recently, I liked it that much.
