Tenkara USA has been sold

My first rod was a TUSA back in their early days and I’ve owned a couple of others over the years. I do miss the early social media presence TUSA had and the gatherings they hosted. I think it helped them with introducing Tenkara and getting the early adopters on board. I don’t use any TUSA rods on a regular basis though. I will always be glad Daniel spread Tenkara into the US and his contributions to the sport. I went to the last gathering they had in Boulder and it was a lot of fun. It’s possible part of the motivation to sell was due to the effects of the pandemic on their business.

One of the unfortunate results of TUSA’s sale is that all the searchable information and history of Tenkara fly fishing on the TUSA Forum will no longer be available. Try to access that information, and the message you will get is that the server does not exist.
