I just wanted everyone to know that tickets are on sale already for this event. This year was my first time attending and it was a great trip. I met some really awesome people, got to fish in an absolutely beautiful setting and learned some new things. I plan on going again, but this time I think I am going up early since I didn’t get to fish as much as I wanted. Hope to see some of you there this year!

I got a tenkara rod for father’s day last year. Had no idea about this event until recently. I have two tickets but may need another. I’m very excited for this camp…and finally fish the White Mountains.

Hey Jeff, welcome to the world of Tenkara. It is a great time! All the people I met were awesome and the area is gorgeous. Lots of fishable water and it is a wonderful social event. I think you’ll have fun!

I’ve only had my bernadoodle as a tenakra pal until recently metting @tonyp - he’s the only local tenkara person I know.

Hey Jeff, You are very welcome! It is a great way to fish, especially on the smaller streams and creeks here in New England.
They are an awesome group of people and really made the event special for beginners and veterans alike. There are presentations, instructional demos, fly tying, a raffle and fishing for native and stocked trout. As well as meeting other Tenkara anglers who are passionate about the sport. You can’t beat that!
Same here, I usually fish alone and my background is in Western Fly-fishing. I have only been Tenkara fishing for four years now, but I love it. I just grabbed a ticket. See you at the event!
