A Small Non-Slip Loop Knot Tying Technique

What I really like about this tying technique is how easily it allows you to control the size of the Non-Slip Loop and lock it in place at the fly. On the number of turns - 3 is plenty secure enough. Here’s the link:

I use this knot frequently. A couple tips if you’re new to tying this…
5x fluoro tippet is slippery as **** so use 6 wraps around the mainline.
Wet the whole thing down and pull it down snug slowly letting the fly swing loosely, then pull the mainline and the fly to get it finished. Slowly is the key to getting it to close down perfectly.
It’s a very easy knot to learn, and to tie consistently well.
