Absolutely spot on.
If I could add one thing, if you do go to Japan, take a bit of time to ask about all the other types of fishing they do… it’s amazing! Things I never knew existed. I was especially astounded by micro fishing (which I’ve been apparently practicing for some time).
Fishermen are the same everywhere… start ask a few questions and they’ll talk your ear off. Especially if your sharing a nice beverage or two…
