In 2013 I purchased my first Tenkara rods the Daiwa Sagiri 39MC and 45MC; I liked them so much I purchased 2 new backups about 6 months later. The originals continue to work fine and I have never broken a section, I generally use them with 5x or 6x tippet and have landed hundreds of fish with both of them over the years, up to 16 inches. These are simply great Tenkara rods! You can’t go wrong with either one, about the best Tenkara rods ever designed and seem to be ever popular.
