Hi and welcome to the Ten Colors Tenkara forum. Thanks for joining us. There are a few limitations, initially, on new users to prevent spam and people being difficult.
Some of the limitations are automatically set by the software we use for the forum and others I have in place. All users can post immediately, but are initially limited to a certain number of posts per day and you have to spend a certain amount of time on the forum before you can create a new topic or thread (depending on what you want to call it).
All users can post replies immediately, but are initially limited to:
* 25 post in first 24 hours
* Spend 100 minutes on the forum
* Read 30 posts
* View 10 topics
Please note you must be logged in with your username for this take effect.
To reply to an existing topic/thread you can click on either option as seen below. Option 1 replies to a specific user and option 2 replies to the overall topic.
Once the above has been met you can then create a new topic/thread.
To create a new topic/thread, click the plus button in the lower right corner. The image below is from a laptop.
By the way, if you use the @ before someone’s username, like @Peder they will get notified when you mention them, like on social media. So when you mention my name, I’ll get a message.
