This is a fly pattern I have never fished and consider to be something of a monstrosity. However, after seeing the great results Flicky Flys has gotten with his Chubby Chernobyl’s it perked my interest and I looked into what it takes to tie the pattern, which is time consuming and rather tedious to tie. The Half Chernobyl is a lot quicker and easier to tie and, probably, just as effective or more so, and easier to cast on tenkara tackle as well. Please take a look:
