Palm Gradient Wading Boot

I’ve had the opportunity to try these boots out on several outings and am so far highly impressed. I learned of them in a Paul Gaskell blog post on Fishingdiscoveries.com . They are very light, very well built and the soles are incredibly grippy. Ankle support is good, they fit perfect with a 1mm neoprene sock and are good for people like me with wider feet. I wear a 13 in a normal shoe and ordered a 13 in the Palm and it fits great. No break in, comfy out of the box. I thought I may need to add studs but they dont need them. Can be found online for around 110$. They should last several seasons. I like them so much as a wet wading summer boot that Im going to order 1 size up for my thicker stocking foot winter waders.

Paul’s article on this topic is excellent!
I’ve been fishing the the LaSportiva canyoneering boot all this summer and it’s perfect for the rocky high gradient streams I like.
Check out the neoprene gaiters section too. I brought home Daiwa’s from Japan, a nice bit of knee padding and a bit of warmth in very cold water.
