Had a work conference the last few days in Scottsdale AZ. Brought my TUSA Hane for the flight just in case. Got out early, bought my one day license and hit the canals. I researched the canal system learning about the grass carp so that was my main target. Hit pay dirt! Short trip but caught a grassy and two bass. Good times. Tenkara= never leave home without it!

Nice fish, but I was most interested in the buttons as well! How are they held on?
Buttons were gifted to me by a guy from the old Tenkara-Fisher forum years ago. Nice handcrafted buttons. They use simple small rubber bands at attach to the rod. Simple and effective.
