I tied up some Woolie Buggers yesterday and afterwards had some scrap material on my bench. I thought, “what the hell” and tied up this little thing with some straggle string, krystal flash and lead wire that I had in the scrap pile.
No idea if this thing will work, but it did get me wondering about all the rest of the material that gets thrown out. Like the fuzzy base parts of marabou feathers, etc. Has anyone else made “scrap flies” and used them successfully?
