Recently I noticed Paul has published 3 books: #1 "Tenkara “Sasoi” #2 “Fly Fishing Small Streams,” and #3 “The Art of Trout Fishing in Rapid Streams” (with Cutcliffe’s and Wooley’s text and fly collection). Just thought I would bring this to your attention in case you are interested in purchasing these books. You can find them on Amazon if that is easier for you to purchase. I really like the DT book about “How to Fool Fish With Simple Flys”
If you are going to buy an English book on tenkara, start there, just a suggestion…
I bought one of the books above, the Fool Fish book is a better first choice if you don’t have any of their books yet.

I agree, however PG’s book “Tenkara Sasoi - Fly Manipulation Techniques for Tenkara and Western Fly Fishing” does provide more detail about manipulation techniques and pairs well with “How to Fool Fish With Simple Flies” Part IV: Outlines of Key Specific Fishing Techniques.
