I will be in Park City UT in September for a week. I plan on hitting these rivers and creeks:

Provo - browns

Upper Provo - browns

Hayden Fork – browns?

Daniels Creek – browns, rainbows

Thistle Creek – abundant browns

Huntington Creek – browns, cutthroats

Left Fork Huntington

Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons – browns

Bear River

E. Fork Bear River

Duchesne River up by 150 as the river exits Mirror Lake - brook, brown, cutthroat, rainbow

Uintas River

Any other suggestions would be helpful. I’ll post some photos after the trip!

Now that’s a packed week! Deer Creek flows into the Provo right below Deer Creek Reservoir and is a great little tenkara creek. Only fished it once but caught a 15-inch brown trout and a smaller rainbow and missed a couple other rainbows. Here’s a vid I made of fishing there.

My brother and I tend to cover as much as we can. We might not hit everything I mentioned but we keep backup options in case a particular area isn’t producing like we think. I’ll check out the video. Thanks

Rob. Ambitious schedule. Kind of a Griswold-esque vacation tour if not carefully managed, at it early staying out late.
