Zen Tenkara"s Rod Cleaning Recomendations

Recently there has been some discussion on how and why tenkara rods break on small fish and under light loads. Turns out 1 possible cause may be from T-anglers not cleaning their rods often enough, which can sand down the rod blank walls internally and cause unexplained rod failures.

That’s pretty much what I do after each use. It’s a pleasant ritual to me, like cleaning my rifle after a hunt.
